Overview

Hospice focuses on palliative (comfort) care, rather than a cure. We recognize the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the patient and emphasize pain and symptom control, dignity and quality of life.  We focus on living each day by preventing and/or controlling distressing or debilitating symptoms and increasing the confidence of caregivers.  Hospice assures that an individual's end of life choices are respected and gives the family the necessary support to honor those choices.
